Welcome

Welcome to Mammoth Elementary STEM School, a place of learning dedicated for children in grades pre-K through six. We are located in the San Pedro River Valley of Pinal County, Arizona, where we treasure our beautiful surroundings and scenic desert landscape. We prize our community’s involvement and attribute our school’s success to the parents, caretakers, and citizens who actively involve themselves in our children’s educational success.

Mammoth is a performing plus school that promotes a traditional learning environment, teaches character development, and integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math into every classroom for optimal and relevant learning experiences. No child is left behind at our school, and we have scores to prove it!

Mission Statement

Mammoth Elementary STEM School's mission statement is: To embrace the 21st century skills through project based learning by preparing students to be successful in the global community.

A Message from Our Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The final month of school is upon us, but there is still so much to do! This is the time of the year students don’t want to miss a day. Testing has come to an end, and every class is busy working on different projects and activities at a feverish pace before the end of the year. Our End of the Year Awards Ceremony is May 15 at 2:00 p.m., and a swimming party for all on May 16! Please help us close down the school year by turning in all library and school books. Pay any library fines for lost or damaged books. We would rather have the books back, so look hard for the lost ones.

Review the Don’t Forget section of our newsletter daily in order to keep up with the busy final days of the year. I would like to say a big thank you to all of our teachers as we observe National Teacher Day on May 9, and celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week May 8-12. Our teachers are an amazing group of professionals who make a difference in the lives of the students at Mammoth STEM Elementary. Join in and show your appreciation.

Finally, I want to say thank you for a great 2016-2017 school year, and I look forward to seeing parents/guardians and students at our 2017-2018 school year registration on July 31 and August 1.

Sincerely,

    Katy Wilkins
